Peter has acquired over 15 years in the field of patents and designs. Starting as a Patent examiner in the Venezuelan Patent Office where he was trained by the European Patent Office in patent searching and examination procedures.  Subsequently, he moved to the private sector joining the most important patent law firms in Venezuela (Bentata Abogados and Hoet, Pelaez, Castillo & Duque (formerly Bentata Hoet & Asociados)). 

In 2001 he moved to the U.S.A and worked in Osha and Liang LLP (formerly Rosenthal and Osha). In 2002 Peter passed the USPTO examination and gained recognition to practice in patent cases before the United States Patent Trademark Office limited to the duration of his work visa .

He has worked in the fields of Oil production (Drilling equipments and Geophysical surveys), Oil well prospecting (Impedance, Nuclear and MNR), Medical instruments, Optics, and General Mechanics.Peter studied Physics in the U.S.A. (NHCC in Houston, Texas and University of Texas at Austin) and graduated from the Central University of Venezuela as Bachelor in Science, Physics specializing in Material Science.

He speaks also German and Spanish.
