Rebecca completed a PhD at The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute & the University of Melbourne (2005) and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science and Biotechnology – Murdoch University (2000).

 

Technology Areas (specialty areas):
Biotechnology Molecular and cellular biology, genomics and transgenics, microbiology, virology, immunology and antibody technology, oncology, proteomics, nanotechnology, bioinformatics, plant biotech, food sciences.

Pharmaceuticals New pharmaceutical entities, pharmaceutical process and formulations, new therapeutic uses and applications

Medical Technologies & Diagnostics Drug delivery systems, diagnostics, prognostics, medical devices

 

Professional Experience:
Post-doctoral scientist at the Spanish National Cancer Centre (CNIO), Madrid, in the division of Molecular Oncology
PhD Research in the division of Immunology and Molecular Genetics of Cancer.
Rebecca specialises primarily in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals and she is studying to become an accredited Patent and Trade Marks Attorney.
