International Design Registration

Publish Date: June 18, 2006

If you wish to protect your design outside Australia it is necessary to seek protection in each country in which you would like the protection to apply. In most cases this must be done before the details of the design are made known to anyone else on a non-confidential basis anywhere in the world. However under the Paris Convention the filing of a design application in Australia enables the applicant to file corresponding design applications in other countries within six (6) months of the Australian application without any loss of rights in the foreign country.

Wray and Associates welcomes your enquiry, and invites you to make contact with us.
Our professional team is well equipped to give you sound advice regarding all aspects of design registration and renewals.
